Data Engineer

At Bdado we are looking for a new member of the team with more than 2 years of experience in data preparation, SQL database design, data visualization, data analysis and ideally machine learning skills.
As a new member of our team you will be WORKING FULL TIME (in our office with the best internet connection available via "Nauta Hogar" and air conditioning :-) in Havana (Miramar, Playa). This is not a project assignment but a long-term employment opportunity giving you the opportunity to work with state of the art enterprise technologies.
Good command of oral and written communication skills in English is a MUST. You will need to pass an application process with interviews in English in order to gain the position we are offering. Responsibilities
• ETL and SQL database design for analytical applications
• Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports and other visualizations for different stakeholders.
• Prepare Data for machine learning

Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with Data Analytics and relational database design
• BS or MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Good command of English
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills

Skills
• Database design, SQL, Relational Database Management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Programming Experience with: Python, Java; Golang
• Machine Learning
• Experience with Linux, DevOps and Cloud architecture
• Atlassian tools like Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket
