The NETGEAR WAC720 is a high performance 2 x 2 business class dual band 802.11ac wireless Access Point (AP) that can support an aggregate throughput of up to 1.2 Gbps (300 Mbps for 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps 802.11ac for 5 GHz). Equipped with industry unique capability of Quad Mode management, allowing user to flexibly switch access point from one management mode to another without complexity. Quad Mode management enables WAC720 to operate in standalone, ensemble, controller, and Business central modes, based on the required deployment scenario.

Wave 1 WiFi
With the aggregate throughput of 1.2 Gbps (300 Mbps for 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps for 5 GHz), the WAC720 is an ideal solution for a business that needs WiFi for employees, guests, and clients.

Improved signal strength
A 2x2 Access Point has improved signal quality and reliability. Because there are more antennas, the WiFi transmitted and received between your devices and the Access Point is stronger for higher speeds.

Easy installation with PoE
Simply install the Access Point with PoE. If you business has existing wiring capable of PoE, then you are able to hard wire the Access Points for maximum performance. Otherwise, use an AC/DC power adapter as an optional power source (sold separately).

Flexible management options
Operate in either standalone or Ensemble mode. Centrally configure and manage up to 10 APs of the same model in Ensemble mode. Ensemble is included as standard and requires no additional equipment or software.
